Sustainable beauty: Re-Rug carpet by Nanimarquina
The Re-Rug rugs are partly made from accumulated wool scraps. Each Re-Rug thus contributes to the reduction of uncontrolled waste as well as to the reduction of CO2 emissions, as less new material has to be produced. In order to preserve the irregularity and richness of colour of the wool remnants, a new manufacturing process has been specially developed. The result of manufacturing with the hand-woven Dhurrie technique is a uniquely beautiful and easy-to-clean collection with a flat structure made of 50% virgin wool and 50% recycled wool.
