Good mixture: Ray Floor floor lamp by Mater
Steel and oak: the beginning of a wonderful design friendship. And indeed, the wood takes the coolness out of the steel and the wood benefits from a cool look. Behind the design is the Pederjessen design studio in Aarhus, Denmark.
The clou: The inner shade is fixed with magnets, which gives you tremendous flexibility, i.e. you can turn it in the desired direction and always have the light where you need it. Optically, this two-in-one principle is reminiscent of a acorn fruit.
You can order the Mater designer lamps online in both black and white.
Material and size
The Mater luminaire is made of steel and FSC-certified oak. Ray is 125.5 cm high and 15.3 cm in diameter. The textile cable has a length of two metres. The switch for switching on and off is also located here. The designer lamps are supplied with LED light sources (max. 3.5 watts).
The light bulb is included.
