Handcrafted: Rama Armchair Cognac by Ox Denmarq

Light American oak wood stands in stark colour contrast to cognac-coloured, robust cowhide, which has been dyed 100% vegetable - this is the Rama armchair from Ox Denmarq.

Its wooden frame testifies to the craftsmanship with which the Danish manufacturer implements its designs. Leather is not only an essential component of the Rama armchair, but is also found in many Ox Denmarq designer furniture - the Ox brand name also pays homage to this material and the animal it supplies.

The Rama armchair was designed by Ox Denmarq co-founder Dennis Marquardt. While still a student of furniture design, he continued his education in China and Japan and learned about the importance of simplicity, aesthetics and precision that are necessary for the design of perfectly shaped furniture.

Material and size

The design armchair is made of leather and oak wood. The leather has a total thickness of at least 4mm. Its surface is made of one piece and remains as natural as possible. This promotes the formation of a beautiful patina over the years. As it is a natural product, deviations are to be expected.

Also the oak wood frame is delivered with natural variations in drawings and colours. The Rama armchair is 68 cm wide, 72 cm deep and 70 cm high.
