Sculptural: Pirce Micro sospensione pendant from Artemide
Gently curved rings that move downwards in a spiral to create magical lighting effects. The form is reminiscent of the rings of Saturn and they appear almost alive in their arrangement. The Pirce pendant luminaire convinces with its graphic-sculptural design, which enhances every room visually.
Designer Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà
After twelve years as leading project designer for injection moulds and plastic moulds, Giuseppe Maurizio Scutella started his own business as a freelance designer. He worked in the field of lighting technology and as a leading designer for Marci & Co, a company in the household appliance sector. He began working with Artemide in 2008. His Pirce pendant was awarded the iF Product Design Award in 2010.
