Sculptural: Pion dining table from Sancal
Inspired by a chess game , Ionna Vautrin designed the Pion collection for Sancal. King and queen are represented by dining and conference tables, rooks, knights and bishops are designed as side tables and the figure of the pawn can be found in the stool.
Whether in a meeting room, restaurant or your own living room - the design furniture in the Pion rangecan be used flexibly .
Ionna Vautrin - the designer
After graduating from the NantesDesign School , Ionna Vautrin worked with various renowned companies, such as the design studio Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. in 2011, she received the main prize for her design of a work commissioned by the City of Paris. Through her collaboration with Foscarini, Sancal also became aware of the French designer .
Sancal - Spanish design with passion
For 40 years , Sancal has stood for passion, openness and cheerfulness. The Spanish manufacturer produces in its own factory in the south-east of the country. From the very beginning, Sancal has been a family business that has set itself the goal of designing furniture that convinces and outlasts.
