Puzzle piece: The Pinwheel HM7 Side table by &Tradition
When designing their Pinwheel HM7, the two Danish design pioneers Hvidt & Mølgaard experimented with geometry and in this way created an order table that can be used very flexibly. The highlight: thanks to the arrow-like table top, several Pinwheel HM7s can be put together like universal puzzle pieces to form exciting combinations and create unique living ensembles. The striking contrast of natural wood and shiny brass legs attracts attention in every living room.
A small tip: With six tables, a completely round table group can be formed.
Hvidt & Mølgaard - a Danish creative duo of the 20th century
The two founders of the well-known architecture and design studio were Peter Hvidt (1916-1986) and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen (1907-1993). Their clear and precise furniture designs are symbolic of Danish modernism and the appreciation of traditional craftsmanship. Hvidt studied furniture making at the School of Arts and Crafts, while Mølgaard-Nielsen studied furniture design with Grandmaster Kaare Klint, the "father of the Danish furniture school", before opening their own studio in 1944. Today, their works can be admired in museums around the world - from the MoMA in New York to the National Gallery in Melbourne.
Material and Format
The Pinwheel HM7 side table by &Tradition is available in oak (soaped or white oiled) or walnut (oiled). The legs are made of brass. The table is 65 cm wide and 43 cm high. The Pinwheel HM7 comes standard with felt gliders.
