Flexible Light: Phare LED Lamp Table Lamp Audo Copenhagen
With the aim of designing a fully recyclable product, Le Corbusier designed the Phare table lamp for apartment no. 10 in the Cité Radieuse. The lamp was also intended to be a versatile everyday companion that would enrich the comfort of the apartment's residents on a daily basis.
At the time, the flat roof of the building met social needs for living space, but it also lacked built-in lighting. In its style, the designer lamp designed for this problem was inspired by the materials of the building's roof construction. The aluminum used in the luminaire is 100% recyclable, yet durable and lightweight. Perfect conditions for a portable light.
