Monochrome: PH 5 Mini Monochrome pendant Louis Poulsen
As early as 1925/26, the famous designer Poul Henningsen designed a three-piece lampshade that was to make it famous. As with all designs, Poul Henningsen's main concern was to create lamps with glare-free light, so that they cast soft shadows and the light cone is perfectly aligned.
The model PH 5 Mini Monochrome Pendant is part of a series of 30 models with a three-part shade, three of which are outdoor lamps.
Louis Poulsen - lighting design from Denmark
The Danish lighting manufacturer was founded in 1874 and has been producing products dedicated to the duality of design and light ever since. The lamps are designed for a wide range of purposes and are therefore particularly functional. Louis Poulsen produces both indoor and outdoor lighting in close cooperation with well-known designers such as Poul Henningsen, Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Øivind Slaatto, Alfred Homann, Oki Sato and GamFratesi. The manufacturer has thus established itself as one of the most important global suppliers of lighting elements.
