The hand-woven structure supports the contrasting feeling between soft wool loops and a stable base made of cool jute yarn. Designer Margrethe Odgaard
Margrethe Odgaard is a defining figure in the modern generation of textile designers in Denmark and Scandinavia. After graduating in 2005, she worked as a textile designer in Philadelphia and later in Paris before establishing her own design studio in Copenhagen in 2013. She has received both national and international awards and recognition for her work with textiles, colours and patterns.
Material and size
The rug is 60% New Zealand lambswool and 40% jute. The wool is dyed and woven by hand. The rug comes with a canvas backing glued with synthetic latex, which ensures that the rug lies smoothly on the floor. It is available in different sizes and colours.
