Stylish: Original Flower Watering Can from Stelton
To mark the company's sixtieth anniversary, Stelton is launching a new edition of the timeless and classic flower watering can by designer Peter Holmblad in 2020. The jug was first launched in 1978 and the new edition can now be seen as a tribute to one of the company's most important men . Peter Holmblad created the basis of Stelton's design DNA with his designs.
Like all of Holmblad's designs, the elegant, sculptural shape of the flower watering can combines aesthetics and functionality.
Designer Peter Holmblad
Peter Holmblad is a central figure in the history of Stelton. He is the former export manager, owner and managing director of the company. His influence on Stelton between 1963 and 2004 was decisive. He developed the company from a manufacturer of common kitchenware to an established and respected design company. Peter Holmblad's products follow the same design principles that Stelton is known for today: aesthetic, simple and functional design.
Material and format
The jug is made of steel. It holds 1.7 litres and measures 33 cm in width, 13 cm in depth and 24.5 cm in height.
