Lassen, who grew up as the seventh of eight children with a very conservative background, where traditional values such as God, the king and the fatherland played an important role, had two sides: Once you got to know the man, who was actually taciturn, he surprised you with his warm and informal personality and his sense of humour. His creative and playful approach to designing furniture made a deep impression and despite the considerable success of his furniture company, he always remained modest. His creations inspire above all with their timeless beauty!
