A classic among side tables - this is the Vitra Occasional Table LTR, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1950.
Contemporary design
And even today, the LTR, which means as much as low table rod base (freely translated: low table with round rod rack), is a real eye-catcher. It is versatile and so simple and unobtrusive in design that it looks great anywhere.
For example, you can place it in the living room as a side table next to the armchair or sofa, and if you line up two or three tables next to each other and use them in combination, the Occasional Table LTR may even replace the coffee table.
The Vitra LTR Occasional Table is also ideal as a bedside table or as a decorative element on which you can place your plants.
Stable changing artist
As you can see, the LTR table is a quick-change artist and incredibly adaptable. Not for nothing it is part of the legendary Eames House represented in many ways. It looks absolutely elegant decorated or even in its pure form and its thin metal frame, which is reminiscent of the famous Eames Chairs, seem filigree and yet is sturdy. The table is extremely sturdy and stable thanks to these metal struts.
