Minimalism: Occasional Low Table side table by Vitra
With its particularly unobtrusive design, the Occasional Low Table by Jasper Morrison is a symbol of minimalist furnishing. It is available in three heights - from a side table to a serving table, there is something for every occasion. The round table tops are bevelled and made of high-quality wood or aluminium.
Jasper Morrison - Designer
The designer Jasper Morrison lives and works in London and Tokyo. He describes his work himself as "super normal " - because instead of unusual shapes, colours and materials, he focuses on the reinterpretation of the tried and tested and the further development of familiar solutions. He has been working with Vitra since 1989.
Material and format
The tabletop is available in oiled solid oak or walnut. The wood comes from Western Europe and/or Poland or from the USA. Vitra also offers a textured powder-coated die-cast aluminium version. The stand tube is always made of textured powder-coated steel. The base is made of die-cast zinc, which is also structure-powder coated.
