in 1987, the Alessi cutlery set was designed under the advice of Alberto Gozzi and by Ettore Sottsass.
A classic series, the idea was that the cutlery should look as if it had been polished by the sea.
The cutlery set consists of 30 pieces as follows:

- 6 dinner forks
- 6 dinner knives
- 6 coffee spoons
- 6 cake forks
The cutlery is made of 18/10 polished stainless steel.
The knife is a blade steel knife. This means that the knife has an inserted blade made of blade steel.
The Alessi Nuovo Milano cutlery set received the recognition of the XVI Compasso d'oro.
