Dryer: Nova One soap dish from Zone Denmark. Most people prefer liquid soap, but there is now a real fan base of classic soap bars. The Nova One soap dish provides the perfect base. Thanks to the grooves, the soap does not sit in its "own juice" and therefore stays nice and dry.

The award-winning design of the Nova One series was created by Danish designer Thomas Dudzinski.

Material and format

The designer soap dish is made of porcelain. However, for aesthetic and tactile reasons, the porcelain is coated with so-called Soft Touch, a matt, velvety plastic. The Zone Denmark dish is 11 cm wide and 2.5 cm high.

A little soap lore

Soaps are used for cleaning and were already used by the Sumerians. During the plague in the Middle Ages, people rarely washed themselves, as it was assumed that washing made the body susceptible to the plague pathogen. In the 17th century, Louis XIV brought soap out of its shadowy existence and even issued a soap purity law. In many French cities, such as Marseille, countless soap factories sprang up. Savon de Marseille is still a guarantee of high quality.
