The halo for your living room, The Nimba Pendant lamp by Santa & Cole
A metal pendant lamp with a white shade that elegantly combines simple shapes with high-tech in a way. The metal frame of the Nimba pendant lamp is made of Linearflex, with a recessed diffuser, which houses a series of small Xenon light bulbs. This ring of light hangs from three copper cables.
Although it looks simple, the idea required a complex technological plan. It involved fitting a strip of small light bulbs into a curved, angled shape, which took designer Antoni Arola two years to develop.
Material and format
The lampshade of the Nimba is made of white PVC. The power supply is integrated in the round canopy made of black metal. The canopy measures 32 cm in diameter and is 5 cm high. The lampshade is available with a diameter of 85 cm or 120 cm. The height of the lampshade is 8 cm.
