Breakfast helpers: NE03RA B Toru toaster tongs set of 2 by Alessi
The Toru toaster tongs are the perfect complement to the toaster from the product series of the same name. Nendo created this collection and gave it its name. The Japanese word "Toru", meaning "through", is inspired by the black tubular elements that Nendo integrated everywhere and which sometimes function as a handle and sometimes as a spout. These subtly ironic, voluminous accents create the special look of the series and blend elegantly into the stainless steel bodies.
Nendo for Alessi
Nendo - which means "clay" - is the name of the famous design studio of Japanese designer Oki Sato. The designer chose the name because he always adapts his creations to the design lines of the respective manufacturers - so his designs are "mouldable like clay". His design pieces always appear familiar to the viewer, as Oki Sato uses soft and friendly shapes, but also incorporates small details that evoke memories of familiar things.

The tongs are made of 18/10 stainless steel and black thermoplastic resin. They are 29 cm long, 10 cm wide and 20 cm high.
