The Mynt office swivel chair is a true all-rounder. With its understated design and cross-functional shape, it brings a new way of sitting to many areas of life. It functions as a universal chair in offices and public areas. In the living room, it looks extremely dynamic both as an office chair and as an addition to the dining table. Mynt is a very flexible chair system that can be refreshed and adapted to new requirements as required. Erwan Bouroullec describes bringing out Mynt as a life's work.
The Bouroullec design duo
After studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Ronan Bouroullec founded a design studio in Paris in 1996 and brought his brother Erwan on board a few years later after his art studies.
The famous designer brothers have already created numerous pieces of furniture and designer accessories for Vitra. Organic design has always been a central focus of their work.
Their unique creations have earned them many awards, such as the "Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris" in 1998 and the "Finn-Juhl Prize" in Copenhagen in 2008. Numerous exhibitions have also been organised in their honour - in renowned cities around the world such as Amsterdam, London, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
