In collaboration with the Design-Kollektiv Front Tom Dixon has developed a revolutionary
pendant lamp with two faces: Melt.
The keyword is „vacuum-metalization“: The lamp shade made of polycarbonat is partly coated
with metal inside - the effect reveals itself when you switch on the Melt lamp.
Then its partly transparent, partly metalized inside is illuminated and lets the lamp shade shimmer
like molten, hand blown glass. The uneven shape perfects the illusion which enhances the molten
flowing effect.
