Handmade: Mbrace dining table by Dedon
Inspired by the shape of a surfboard, the Mbrace dining table with its teak slats is not only unique, but also conveys a feeling of casualness. Thanks to its slim design with a depth of only 90 cm, the solid dining table can be used in many outdoor areas without appearing too bulky. Whether in the garden, on the terrace or on the balcony - the outdoor dining table is an eye-catcher everywhere.
A true embrace - the Mbrace collection
The Mbrace collection was designed by Sebastian Herkner . His aim was to use a traditional weaving technique to create a collection of furniture that exudes an inviting living atmosphere. The name suggests it: "Mbrace" is the abbreviation of the English word "embrace" and means "to embrace". And that's exactly how embraced and secure you feel when you let yourself fall into the various seating furniture of the Mbrace series. Matching dining and side tables round off the product variety and complement it in colour.
Design by Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner studied product design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach. Already during his studies, he focused on the design of objects and furniture that are characterised by the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. Subtle details and the natural beauty of the materials used are the focus here. Herkner founded his own design studio in 2006 and has since designed products for numerous renowned companies. His work has already received several awards.
Material and format
The table is made of solid and natural teak wood. The dining table measures 200 cm in width, 90 cm in depth and 75 cm in height. The weight is 40 kg.
Care instructions:
Clean with a soft cloth and warm water. Clean the teak with DEDON Teak Cleaner. To maintain the golden brown colour of the untreated teak, it is recommended to treat the base with DEDON Teak Oil at least every six months.
