A true embrace - the Mbrace collection
The Mbrace collection was designed by Sebastian Herkner . His aim was to use a traditional weaving technique to create a collection of furniture that exudes an inviting living atmosphere. The name suggests it: "Mbrace" is the abbreviation of the English word "embrace" and means "to embrace". And that's exactly how embraced and secure you feel when you let yourself fall into the various seating furniture of the Mbrace series. Matching dining and side tables round off the product variety and complement it in colour.
Design by Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner studied product design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach. Already during his studies, he focused on the design of objects and furniture that are characterised by the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. Subtle details and the natural beauty of the materials used are the focus here. Herkner founded his own design studio in 2006 and has since designed products for numerous renowned companies. His work has already received several awards.
Material and format
The frame is made of solid and natural teak. The tabletop, on the other hand, ismade of frost-proof and impact-resistant ceramic, more precisely Monolite Ipergres®, and has a handmade pattern. The coffee table measures 70 cm in diameter and 34.5 cm in height. The weight is 17.2 kg.
