From emergency signal to bestseller: May Day/Mayday multipurpose luminaire Outdoor Flos
Fittingly for its 20th anniversary, the internationally celebrated portable design lamp Mayday by star designer Konstantin Grcic is now also available as a pure outdoor lamp. The lamp, which is inspired by a work lamp in construction, consists of a cone-shaped diffuser made of injection-moulded polypropylene with a practical carrying handle with which you can hang Mayday anywhere and around which you can also wrap the cable effortlessly. On the handle you will also find the convenient control button. In the classic version, the cable length is 4.85 metres, in the outdoor version 6 metres. At 700 g instead of 900 g, the new outdoor version is also lighter. May Day reliably provides light where you need it. You can hang the award-winning designer piece in trees or over a cool dining table, use it in the garage as a workshop light or just lay it on the floor, May Day is robust and can do just about anything.
