Maximum functionality: Max table 190 cm x 90 cm by Kartell
The Max table was designed by Ferruccio Laviani as a practical desk. With its flowing, organic tabletop shape, which is reminiscent of an hourglass, it attracts attention. Thanks to its simple plug-in connections, it can also be quickly used with similar elements as a work island in an open-plan office. The table legs made of chrome-plated aluminium tubing converge at the base and rest either on feet or, for even more flexibility, on castors equipped with locking brakes.
Ferruccio Laviani Ferruccio
Laviani first began learning the craft of violin making, but broke off his apprenticeship to study architecture and design at the Polytechnic in Milan. By 1983, he had already worked for the designer Michele De Lucci and later became his partner. in 1991, he finally went into business for himself and celebrated a great success with Kartell's trade fair appearance at the Salone internazionale del mobile. In the following years, he developed, among others, the famous ceiling lamp Fly and the popular table lamps Bourgie and Battery.
