Sustainable: Mat chair without armrests from Normann Copenhagen

Sustainability is at the centre of the production of the Mat collection. The question is asked: How can a modern shell chair be manufactured to produce as little CO² emissions as possible?  This collection is the result of years of research and development. It is designed to be disassembled and recycled. This ensures that the components of the Mat chair can be recycled for new productions to ensure a fully circular life cycle. 

Normann Copenhagen - Design from Denmark

The Danish design company Norman Copenhagen has set itself a mission: To design unusual products that are simultaneously contemporary and survive all trends. The shell of the chair was designed in an innovative way using hand and seagrass. The chair is 79 cm high, 51.6 cm wide and 53 cm deep. It has a seat height of 45 cm and weighs 4.6 kg.
