The beautifully shaped and comfortably upholstered designer armchairs were designed by Antonio Citterio. Inviting armrests and the high back round off the exceptional comfort perfectly.
A synchronised mechanism hidden inside the upholstery is used to move the armchairs from an upright sitting position to a reclined resting position. You can lock the armchair in any position. The counterforce of the mechanism can also be manually adjusted to the user's weight. This provides optimum support for the back.
Whether fabric or leather, the special feature of this designer armchair is the decorative stitching - it gives the armchair an almost handcrafted and particularly contemporary look.

Antonio Citterio - Designer
Antonio Citterio opened his own design studio at the age of 22 and worked together with Terry Dawn on buildings in Europe and Japan from 1987 to 1996. Together with Patricia Viel, he founded an interdisciplinary studio for architecture, interior design and graphic design in 2000. In addition to Vitra, he co-operates with many other well-known companies in the design furniture industry, e.g. B&B Italia, Flos, Kartell and Technogym.
