The Peugeot story began in 1812 - first with saws, then in 1840 the first mill was added to the range of the French manufacturer.

What makes Peugeot mills so unique?
The two-stage grinder - the peppercorns are pre-cut in the Peugeot mills in the first stage of the grinder and then freshly ground. This way, the grains remaining in the grinder stay fresh longer and develop their aroma perfectly.
By comparison: in a conventional mill, the grains are only crushed and so the remaining pepper quickly loses its aroma and dries out.
Individually adjustable
The taste of pepper changes depending on the degree of grinding. A coarse grain achieves the maximum aroma, whereas a fine grain provides more spiciness.
Depending on the type of mill, the grind can be individually adjusted to suit your preferences. The U-Select grinders from Peugeot offer six different degrees of grinding. Classic grinders are adjusted by means of an adjustment screw and thus offer a wide variety of grinds.
Sustainable and timeless
Peugeot grinders are PEFC certified, which means that the wood used to make them comes from sustainably managed European forests. All mills are manufactured in France. In the process, the chips and sawdust are collected and recycled. And even the finish of the mills, the varnish is solvent-free and thus environmentally friendly.
In addition, the high-quality grinding mechanism and the timeless, harmonious design allow for a long use.
