Fashion in shades of red: Mademoiselle chair "à la mode" by Kartell

Designed by Philippe Starck, this Mademoiselle chair combines iconic chair design with fashion-inspired fabrics. The injection-moulded frame is made of transparent polycarbonate, on which there are four coupling points that create a firm but at the same time elastic connection with the seat made of polyurethane foam. The Vevey design with kaleidoscopic multicoloured flowers in the red tones is linear and harmonious, the seating comfort exceptional.

The name Philippe Starck should be familiar to everyone. With Juicy Salif, for example, the French exceptional talent has designed the probably best-known juice press in the world for Alessi and the famous Masters chairs and Ghost chairs by Kartell also come from his pen. Incidentally, Philippe Starck gets his best ideas on an island, where he devotes himself entirely to his creativity in a rudimentarily furnished fisherman's hut.
