Luminous: designer wall luminaires
Finding the right light
Wall and ceiling luminaires generally require the least space of all luminaires. They serve as light sources for the entire room or can be used as indirect light sources for selected situations in the room
An indirect light source is recommended for work surfaces, for example. Especially for bright surfaces such as kitchen worktops or desks, this avoids reflections. Indirect lighting with wall and ceiling luminaires can also be useful in the hallway or living room to create a pleasant atmosphere. However, wall and ceiling luminaires can also be used to produce very direct light in the form of spots to present and illuminate a specific point.
Our recommendations
Fritz Hansen
Scissor lamp KAISER idell
The scissor lamp by Fritz Hansen embodies Bauhaus design in its purest form and is modelled on the industrial scissor lamp.
marset
Djembé ceiling lamp
Even though the design lamp shares its name with an African drum, the design by Joan Gaspar is more reminiscent of a bell than a percussion instrument. It also emits just as powerful light as one would expect from it.
Coordinates Wall Lamp
The Coordinates Wall Lamp by Flos is a particularly simple and geometric design lamp. This creates a noble as well as appealing eye-catcher at the same time, which nevertheless appears very delicate. With its light, it is suitable for every room.
