Doubled: Lucellino Doppio Wall Lamp by Ingo Maurer
If once wings are not enough, one should simply double them - this is probably what Ingo Maurer thought when he designed the new version of the well-known Lucellino wall lamp. Instead of one bulb with wings as before, the Doppio offers two of the creative installations.
The wall lamp (which can also be used as a ceiling lamp) is a homage to the good old light bulb and literally takes it to new heights. It shows the charm and creativity with which the qualified graphic designer Ingo Maurer creates his designs and produces them himself.
The designer's maxim "Away from immobile, static designs, towards the lightness of being" is also particularly well demonstrated in the Lucellino Doppio.
Processing
Thanks to the flexible wire frame, the luminaire can be aligned as desired and changed daily. This way, you can put the piece of jewellery in a new light every day. The handmade wings are made of goose feathers.
