Inspired by the golden glow of the Tuscan city of Lucca, this portable battery lamp by andTradition is not only visually very appealing, but also extremely practical. Since it is a battery-powered light, it can be used inside as well as outside without any problems. The lamp can be operated for up to 12 hours before it can be easily recharged by means of a USB cable .
Design Studio Space Copenhagen
Space Copenhagen was founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. The design studio works in different disciplines, besides furniture and lighting they also design art installations of all kinds as well as interior design for private houses, hotels and restaurants. The studio's aim is to break new ground in design, balancing opposites such as classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal or light and shadow.
Material and format
The battery lamp is made of satin opal glass, powder-coated metal and brass. It is 23 cm wide and 35 cm high.
