With this lamp, you are bringing a true work of art into your home. The unusual design of the Loja table lamp creates an atmospheric interplay between indirect and direct lighting.
Midgard - 100 years of directable light
midgard Licht GmbH, which emerged from the Auma Ronneberger and Fischer industrial plant in 1919, is the owner of the oldest patent for steerable light. Its founder Curt Fischer is even regarded as the inventor of steerable light. His lights were used in the metal workshops of the Bauhaus in Dessau, among other places. The products are manufactured and assembled in Hamburg Altona, making Midgard luminaires genuine Made-in-Germany goods. They are ENEC and VDE certified.
Material and format
The luminaire consists of only three materials: hand-blown glass, paper and steel with a stepless soft-touch dimmer and an LED unit. The luminaire is plugged together instead of glued to allow each user to easily replace components. The luminaire is 50 cm high and has a shade diameter of 50 cm.
