LCP Chair Kartell
Your advantages with einrichten design
personal, individual, passionately
Can't be done, doesn't exist: LCP chaise longue by Kartell
LCP is an innovative chaise longue, which was cast in one piece from transparent methacrylate. The seating and reclining furniture from the pen of Maarten Van Severen combines apparent opposites: It is as filigree as it is elastic and as soft as it is robust. The refined chair attracts the attentive gaze of all lovers of more exclusive design pieces and can be harmoniously integrated into any room concept.
Design icon Van Severen
After studying architecture, the Belgian Maarten Van Severen founded his own studio, where he dedicated himself to designing furniture as well as various tasks in the field of interior design. He also taught at various universities and academies. In his designs, he was concerned with nothing less than absolute perfection. His creations do without superfluous forms and materials and are wonderfully adapted to our needs and lifestyles. In addition to Kartell, Van Severen also worked for Bulo, Edra, Pastoe and Vitra, for the latter of which he designed the 03 chair, probably his best-known work.
Kartell - plastic for art
The Italian company Kartell is one of the most dazzling brands in the world of design. The beautifully shaped products made in Milan combine industrial know-how with an unusual design language, which has earned the manufacturer a great reputation on the international stage. It is above all the famous plastic furniture that has already achieved cult status.
