The design
The Lato table was created by designer Luca Nichetto. What inspired Nichetto? From a lollipop! More precisely, an upside-down lollipop. The designer grew up in Murano, a group of islands north-east of Venice. Murano is known for its exclusive Murano glass, so it is hardly surprising that Nichetto also has a penchant for fine materials. The best example: the Lato side table for the Danish design label &tradition Copenhagen.
