Small but nice: BK16 side table by Carl Hansen
Inspired by cubism, a collection was created in 1959 that convinces with its clear shapes and geometric designs. The BK16 is the perfect addition to this series and is ideal in combination with one or more of the BK11 armchairs or the BK12 2-seater sofa.
Besides the side table, the indoor-outdoor series by Kjær includes a lounge chair, a dining chair, a dining table, a two-seater bench, a rocking sofa and a sun lounger. In addition, the furniture can be equipped with weatherproof cushions. You can find all pieces of the collection here in our online shop.
Bodil Kjær
The Danish professor and architect Bodil Kjær contributed significantly to the spread of Modern Danish Design by promoting the relationship between design and architecture. She approached the design of furniture from a technical point of view that closely interacted with modern architecture and the physical characteristics of the designs.
Material and format
The side table is, like the other pieces of the collection, made of solid teak. It is 69 cm wide, 66 cm deep and 47 cm high.
