Like the other designs in the collection, the rocking sofa is modelled on the Cubist style with its linear and geometric shape.
In addition to the rocking sofa, the indoor-outdoor series from Kjær includes a lounge chair, a side table, a dining table, a two-seater bench, a dining chair and a sun lounger. Bodil Kjær
The Danish professor and architect Bodil Kjær made a significant contribution to the spread of Modern Danish Design by promoting the relationship between design and architecture. She approached the design of furniture from a technical point of view, which is closely linked to modern architecture and the physical characteristics of the designs.
Material and format
The rocking sofa is made of solid teak and comes with the ropes for suspension. An optional frame can be ordered as an accessory if required. The sofa is 151 cm wide, 66 cm deep and 54 cm high.
