The Danish architect Bodil Kjær wanted to design a chair in the Cubist style that would develop a beautiful patina over time and at the same time defy all adversities with its robust construction.
In addition to the dining room chair, Kjær's indoor outdoor range includes a lounge chair, a side table, a dining table, a two-seater bench, a rocking sofa and a sun lounger.
