Lighthouse of a different kind: Kabuki Outdoor Floor Lamp by Kartell 

"Song and dance" - this is how one could translate the Japanese word Kabuki. With a height of 166 cm, the lamp by Ferruccio Laviani is extremely imposing. The shape is reminiscent of an oversized wine glass with large pearls carved into the stem. But that is by far not all that Kabuki stands out with. The perforated surface of the injection-moulded lamp creates a unique, fascinating light diffusion. Give the designer luminaire enough space to shine, its mood light actually makes you want to sing and dance.

Ferruccio Laviani 

Ferruccio Laviani first started to learn the craft of violin making, but broke off the apprenticeship to study architecture and design at the Polytechnic in Milan. By 1983, he had already worked for the designer Michele De Lucci and later became his partner. in 1991, he finally went into business for himself and celebrated a great success with Kartell's trade fair appearance at the Salone internazionale del mobile. In the following years, he developed, among others, the famous ceiling lamp Fly and the popular table lamps Bourgie and Battery.
