A breath of freedom in the wind: Jaima 71 IP65 Outdoor pendant luminaire by marset
The Jaima Outdoor Pendant Light by Marset was designed by Joan Gaspar in 2017 and impresses with its use of textiles as a means of expression. Gaspar goes beyond pure design and resorts to supple and flexible materials to create a unique atmosphere. This pendant light sways gently in the wind and embodies stability at the same time. The light is thereby caught in the lampshade, while the fabric conveys a certain emotional component.
The name of the collection, Jaima, derives from the tents that are popularly used by the Bedouins in the north of Africa . The fabrics and shapes of these tents served as inspiration for the design of the lamp.

Material and format
The Jaima Outdoor pendant luminaire consists of a shade made of Textilene. In order to create a pleasant light directed downwards, the inside is kept in white in each case.
The structure consists of stainless steel, which is lacquered grey. The Textilene material is very flexible and tear-resistant, as it consists of synthetic fibres coated with PVC. It is also water-repellent, quick-drying and UV-resistant.
The umbrella measures 71 cm in diameter and 82 cm in height. The canopy measures 11 cm in diameter and 3.5 cm in height.
