Hay revives a classic: the popular J41 chair, remodeled by designer Borge Mogensen.
Black & White
Here you can order the designer chair J41 made of black or white stained beechwood online. Beechwood is characterized by its particular strength, giving you a very sturdy chair.
With chair J41, however, it should be noted that Hay recommends this only for use in the private sector. This is exactly where J41 fits best, because the design chair inspires with its typical Scandinavian and homely look.
History and design
The chair J41 is part of the FDB collection from the 1940s, which now is revived by Hay. Responsible for the original design is Poul M. Volther, who was inspired by the classic Windsor chair. Therefore, J41 has the typical backrest struts, which provide an airy look. Revised by Borge Mogensen, J41 now appears more modern without losing its original charm.
