Design close to nature: Husk S stool by Moroso 

Inspired by green maize fields, Mark A. Thorpe designed the Husk S armchair as part of the M' Afrique collection by Moroso. And since M' Afrique stands for the colourful diversity of Africa, Husk is available in different colour variations and in two other finishes. With this unique stool you get an absolute eye-catcher in your outdoor area! 

Art director Patrizia Moroso's aim with M' Afrique is to capture the exotic cheerfulness of the African continent. Senegal is also home to the specially founded, small factory where each design is skilfully made by hand. The polyethylene mesh is based on the weaving technique of African fishing nets and is as unique as it is robust. The steel frame, which Moroso has weatherproofed, contributes significantly to the stability.

Quality and ingenuity

Moroso was founded in 1952 and since then has stood for high quality, unbridled ingenuity and colourful design furniture. The focus is on unique, unusual design, environmentally friendly production and the use of natural, recyclable materials wherever possible. Material and format 

Like all pieces of furniture in the collection, the Husk lounge chair was also designed for outdoor use. The frame consists of robust, weatherproof lacquered steel, whereas the seat and backrest are made of polyethylene threads. 

The design stool is 83 cm wide, 46 cm deep and 60 cm high. It is available in the colour variants yellow, green, red and black with yellow seat.

Note: The M'Afrique collection by Moroso is traditionally produced by hand in Senegal, so deviations and minor defects are no reason for complaint. These are intentional and are part of the handcrafted and artisanal character of the piece of furniture. Due to the production process in Senegal, the furniture is not always directly available in all variations and colours, as you are used to from European companies.
