Wired: Hiray Outdoor Chair by Kartell
The Italian furniture manufacturer Kartell has become famous primarily for its iconic plastic furniture. But with the green-ecological redefinition of the company, metal now also joins the ranks of the most important materials at Kartell. Following this line, the shapely Hiray outdoor collection was created in cooperation with the designer couple Ludovica and Roberto Palomba.
The Hiray chair embodies an exciting play with metal. It is processed according to the technique of soldered wire, whereby the slender metal wires form a delicate connection. This creates a light, sweeping construct that fits into a variety of living environments with its essential simplicity .

Designer couple Ludovica and Roberto Palomba
in 1994, the couple, known for their designs in the furniture and product sector, founded their own design studio in Milan. Ludovica and Roberto Palomba design objects that are intended to enter into a direct dialogue with the owner and create a lasting relationship. This is how created the contemporary reinterpretation of the Birdie shade lamp and innovative models, such as Gregg or the Ritual lamps.

Material and format
The Hiray chair designed for outdoor use is made of lacquered galvanised steel and is available in four colours. For even more seating comfort, you can order the matching seat cushion in our shop.
