Relax outdoors: Hippo Lounge Armchair Outdoor by NORR11

With a contrasting mix of opulent, soft curves and clear, angular lines, Hippo is a stylish piece of design furniture whosespecial character makes it an eye-catcher in any room. Incidentally, thestately hippo with its barrel-shaped torso served as amodel for the design . The result is a cosy, cuddly piece of seating furniture on which it is wonderful to relax.
Design team Hansen + Hyldahl
Designer Tommy Hyldahl is the founder of NORR11. He is responsible for the creative DNA of the manufacturer and so his interest in the materials and production processes shows in every single product of NORR11. Since 2015, he has been working together with Kristian Sofus Hansen, who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The two designers are united by their passion for Japanese simplicity and Scandinavian tradition, which they combine in their designs to create timeless furniture.
Material and format
The seat and backrest are made of medium-hard Quickdry foam with a frame of boat-built plywood. The feet are made of FSC-certified heat-treated ash. For the upholstery, you can choose between different Sunbrella covers . This high-quality outdoor fabric consists of spinneret-dyed polyacrylic fibres and is particularly UV and weather resistant.
The armchair measures 70 cm in width, 83.5 cm in depth and 70 cm in height. The seat height is 41 cm.
