A piece of design furniture with absolute recognition value: this is the Hideout lounge chair designed by the Front designer trio for Viennese GTV Design.
Comfort and design
Creates privacy: in the Hideout Lounge Chair by Wiener GTV Design you can withdraw in the truest sense of the word. That is why the designer trio Front gave the cosy armchair the name Hideout.
Comfortable upholstery guarantees a high level of seating comfort and the side parts made of Viennese wickerwork, which are drawn all around, provide discreet screening. Viennese wickerwork is the name given to a natural rattan weave.
Another special feature is the solid wood frame, which is made of beech bentwood. The production of designer furniture made of bentwood is a tradition both at Thonet and at the Viennese offshoot GTV Design. This manufacturing technique, developed by the Thonet brothers, allows even solid wood to be bent into the desired shape by treating it with steam.
Viennese GTV Design and Sustainability
Environmental awareness is a top priority at Wiener GTV Design. The manufacturer uses only wood from socially and environmentally responsible forests with FSC certification. There are even plans to award the European ECOLABEL eco-label, as the furniture pieces by the Thonet brothers Vienna have a particularly low environmental impact throughout the entire product life cycle.
