Hee Welling for Hay
The designer chairs of the same name are the result of the following consideration of designer Hee Welling: Seats should be created that function according to the motto "form follows function". For this purpose, an archetypical chair design was consulted, reduced to the most necessary and at the same time its functionality was improved.
The design feature par excellence is the steel struts, which give the Hee Dining Chair an airy appearance.
Choice of material and workmanship
Hay uses galvanised and powder-coated steel for the material. Thus, the Hee Dining Chair can even be used as an outdoor chair.
The fact that the chair consists of only one material has another reason: This avoids unnecessary and environmentally harmful transport routes. It also simplifies the recycling process. As you can see, the Hee Dining Chair is an extremely well thought-out chair design, which, by the way, can even be found in the Australian Parliament and the Oslo Opera House.
