Simple and modern - the shapely glasses by AndTradition are something very special, because they are mouth-blown. Their structure reflects the swirling nature of water. In reference to a common feature in Asian design, the glasses have a small lip on their rim that creates a natural place for the lip to rest.
Design Studio Space Copenhagen
Space Copenhagen was founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. The design studio works in a variety of disciplines; in addition to furniture and lighting, they also design art installations of all kinds as well as interior design for private homes, hotels and restaurants. The studio's aim is to break new ground in design, balancing opposites such as classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal or light and shadow.
Material and format
The glasses are made of mouth-blown glass. They are available in two sizes:
- SC60: H 10.5 x D 6.4 cm | 165 ml
- SC61: H 12 x D 8.7 cm | 400 ml
