Figurine diversity
Alexander Girard, a highly respected 1950s post-war designer in America, was known for his many design and graphic designs. From this rich fund of Vitra drew again this year and brought by Girard designed figures in the form of flat metal tags on the market.
You have the choice between five different motifs: dove, moon, sun, mouse and heart. Of course it is recommended to order several different Girard Ornaments online to combine them.

Alexander Girard
Born in 1907, Girard collaborated with Vitra in the mid-1950s, creating numerous graphic designs for the Swiss manufacturer. The collaboration was so close that Alexander Girard bequeathed hundreds of his drawings, prototypes and samples to the Vitra Design Museum before he died.
In homage to the famous designer, Vitra re-created the mouse, heart, moon, sun and dove and immortalized the figures in shiny brass metal.

Ein schöner Baumschmuck
Die Verpackung der Ornamente könnte Vitra noch mal überdenken. Auf dem Kunststoff sind Reibespuren und damit kann man das Ornament nicht mehr verschenken. Die feine Kordel ist eher orangerot als rot, aber das macht nichts. Ansonsten ist es ein schöner Baumschmuck, wenn man mal etwas Abwechslung zu Kugeln und Sternen möchte.
