Ferruccio Laviani 

Ferruccio Laviani first started learning the craft of violin making, but broke off the apprenticeship to study architecture and design at the Polytechnic in Milan. By 1983, he had already worked for the designer Michele De Lucci and later became his partner. in 1991, he finally went into business for himself and celebrated a great success with Kartell's trade fair appearance at the Salone internazionale del mobile. In the following years, he developed, among others, the famous ceiling lamp Fly and the popular table lamps Bourgie and Battery.
