Black Beauty: Gap pendant lamp by Woud. The matte black cylinder is an eye-catcher due to its brass-coloured interior. The icing on the cake: the long gap - hence the name 'Gap' - through which the light shines through like a golden ray.

Who invented it? Behind the design stands the Danish designer and architect Maja Bøgh Vindbjerg, head of Studio Nur.

Material and size

On the metal lampshade a matte black powder coating is applied. In contrast to wet paint, a powder coating is dry, which is usually solvent-free and therefore very environmentally friendly. The powder coating is applied to an electrically conductive substrate, the Gap lamp is the best example, applied.

The Gap designer lamps are 20 cm high, the diameter is 14 cm. Gap Pendant works both individually and in groups. The black textile cable is 3 meters long.
