The Fromme Lounge Chair has a modern and unique design that can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Thanks to a special coating, the chair is weather-resistant and robust and can also be easily stored by stacking it to save space.
The metal chair impresses with its clear lines and an ergonomic seat. This is specially shaped so that it optimally supports the body and thus enables comfortable sitting. A special feature: Inspired by cycling, the designer integrated suspension joints under the seat, which make the chair particularly comfortable.
Like the other furniture of the Fromme collection, the Fromme chair is available in different colours and is thus a perfect addition to any interior
The Designer - Tom Chung
Tom Chung is an independent designer with his own industrial design studio, which he founded in 2016 . Based in Toronto, he creates industrial designs for institutions and public bodies. In addition to industrial design, his focus is also on interior design. During his design process, he combines contemporary culture and local industry.
Material and format
The chair is made of matt-grained aluminium and has a UV-resistant powder coating for outdoor use. A VOC-free anti-rust paint is used. Suspension joints made of rubber polymer are located underneath the seat. The legs of the chair are made of extruded tubes, which are not only light but also provide a stable construction. The chair measures 61 cm in width, 58 cm in depth and 71 cm in height. The seat is at a height of 40 cm. The weight is 5.9 kg
