The Scandinavian-Asian lamp creation Formakami was designed by Jaime Hayon - inspired by the well-known Chinese lanterns - for & tradition Copenhagen. Here we offer you the elegant version JH3.
Multiculti
While the structure and material selection - each Formakami luminaire is made of rice paper - is reminiscent of the Asian lanterns, the colour selection points to Scandinavian influences. The two black-stained oak rings, which complement the design of the lamp contrast with the ivory-coloured lampshade.
All the more surprising is the fact that designer Jaime Hayon is from Spain - but the designer sees the big picture and has a passion for expressive design creations, which always come with a touch of playfulness.
